Breaking news! Brand new on the market is the Ab Circle Mini, the little sister of the hugely popular Ab Circle Pro. The new Ab Circle Mini is claimed to be half the weight, half the size and half the price of the original Ab Circle, but will deliver the same great toning results for the entire tummy area and the hips and thighs.
I’ve just watched the infomercial part of the way through and then I had to switch it off because their manufactured excitement was giving me a headache
. Jennifer Nicole Lee looks as impeccably toned and tanned as ever as she demonstrates the hip-swinging movement of the Ab Circle Mini, but how much is there to say about swinging your hips? Even JNL seemed to be getting desperate by the end!
The main complaint with the big Ab Circle Pro was the quality of build, and let’s hope they’ve taken this on board with the Ab Circle Mini; it would be great better manufactured. The principle is the same in that you lean on the handlebars, put your knees in the cups and swing your hips to and fro as if you were wagging your tail, but you also get a choice of hand positions for variation.
You get the usual healthy eating guide and five-minute exercise DVD, but what I like better about the Ab Circle Mini is that this time it’s made clear that five minutes a day using this thingy isn’t going to solve your weight problems and you’ve got to do other types of exercise, as well as spring-cleaning your eating habits if you want to see real results.
That being said, you will get some cardio calorie burn from the Mini, the movement will actually work your abdominals and obliques and resting your weight on the handlebars will tone your shoulders and arms as well as strengthening your wrists. I even saw one of the barechested guys in the background doing press ups holding the handlebars, although he wasn’t waggling his hips at the same time!
I’d say the Ab Circle Mini will be popular provided they really have sorted the build quality problems, and it’s a clever idea to offer the same results bodywise but using a machine that smaller, neater and a lot cheaper; if you work out at home this wouldn’t be a bad piece of kit to invest in.
If you’re on a budget however and interested in something that definitely does work why not take a look at The Truth About Abs no gimmicks just rock solid information that will help you lose weight quickly and safely.

I purchased the mini ab circle about two months ago….read everything that came with it – and began the 1st workout. I noticed that the first dvd was too easy. I’m not in TOP SHAPE, but I’m in decent shape. So I quickly moved to the 12 min and two days later, began doing the 16 minute workout. I’ve been doing this about 4 times a week – and within the first two weeks, I noticed that the left knee seemed a lil loose, so I tightened it a lil. Then, today, the right knee came completely off during my workout. I came very close to slicing my upper leg as I lost the knee cup and fell off. So I’ve grabbed my Assembly guide and began reading the warranty….I’m hoping that this does not fall under normal wear and tear, because a product should be built to last longer then 2 months. I’ll let you know but I DID like it, and was doing it, but found it very easy….but my legs were improving their shape….lower abs, a lil bit, (my uppers always looked great….
