Breaking news! Brand new on the market is the Ab Circle Mini, the little sister of the hugely popular Ab Circle Pro. The new Ab Circle Mini is claimed to be half the weight, half the size and half the price of the original Ab Circle, but will deliver the same great toning results for the entire tummy area and the hips and thighs.

I’ve just watched the infomercial part of the way through and then I had to switch it off because their manufactured excitement was giving me a headache . Jennifer Nicole Lee looks as impeccably toned and tanned as ever as she demonstrates the hip-swinging movement of the Ab Circle Mini, but how much is there to say about swinging your hips? Even JNL seemed to be getting desperate by the end!

The main complaint with the big Ab Circle Pro was the quality of build, and let’s hope they’ve taken this on board with the Ab Circle Mini; it would be great better manufactured. The principle is the same in that you lean on the handlebars, put your knees in the cups and swing your hips to and fro as if you were wagging your tail, but you also get a choice of hand positions for variation.

You get the usual healthy eating guide and five-minute exercise DVD, but what I like better about the Ab Circle Mini is that this time it’s made clear that five minutes a day using this thingy isn’t going to solve your weight problems and you’ve got to do other types of exercise, as well as spring-cleaning your eating habits if you want to see real results.

That being said, you will get some cardio calorie burn from the Mini, the movement will actually work your abdominals and obliques and resting your weight on the handlebars will tone your shoulders and arms as well as strengthening your wrists. I even saw one of the barechested guys in the background doing press ups holding the handlebars, although he wasn’t waggling his hips at the same time!

I’d say the Ab Circle Mini will be popular provided they really have sorted the build quality problems, and it’s a clever idea to offer the same results bodywise but using a machine that smaller, neater and a lot cheaper; if you work out at home this wouldn’t be a bad piece of kit to invest in.

If you’re on a budget however and interested in something that definitely does work why not take a look at The Truth About Abs no gimmicks just rock solid information that will help you lose weight quickly and safely.

The Ab Circle Machine AKA The Ab Circle Pro looks like it’s had it’s day. For over a year it’s been one of the hottest pieces of at home workout equipment to hit the market in many years.

I’m not entirely sure why it’s been so popular because off the top of my head I can think of many other pieces of equipment that not only come in cheaper but would do a better job if fat loss was your only goal.

As I’ve written before apart from the build quality (I believe they may have sorted this out now) and the somewhat exaggerated claims of what the Ab Circle would do for you I still quite like it. It’s unusual and if used as adjunct to other exercise you do would certainly help prevent boredom.

This product is not recommended for anyone over the weight limit, has knee or back problems. That said the same would be true for any new piece of exercise equipment you’re thinking of using.

Your first port of call should always be your physician or health professional before you start any new workout with or without equipment.

If you’re looking for something that definitely does work your abs why not take a look at The Truth About Abs no gimmicks just rock solid information that will help you lose weight quickly and safely.

It is a new piece of equipment for the home exercise market that lifts you up from the floor and makes combining your ab exercises with your cardio workouts easier and more effective than you ever thought possible.

To lose weight safely and correctly while toning and tightening all your major muscle groups, there are several components of exercise that must be combined. The first is cardiovascular exercise which is described as sustained rhythmic exercise using large muscle groups and carried out for a period of at least 20 minutes three to four times a week.

Cardio should be at an intensity that makes you sweat, gets you warm and makes you slightly breathless. There are two types of mistakes people make in cardiovascular exercise; one is not working hard enough – I see folk all the time in the gym sitting on the exercise bike reading a magazine; if you can read a magazine your heart and lungs are not working hard enough!

The second mistake is performing cardio at too high an intensity for too long at a time (as this puts your body under stress) and then not training again for several days. You will lose any benefit gained if you do not do another workout within 96 hours.

The best and most effective way to exercise is to take the middle path; walk, pedal or swim at a moderate intensity, enough to make you slightly short of breath and give you a warm glow, for at least 20 minutes three times a week; every other day would be perfect. This exercise alone can greatly reduce your risk of early heart disease and some cancers.

Cardiovascular exercise on its own is not enough for optimum health and weight loss, as you need to also do exercises to overload your main muscles in order to keep them strong and functioning correctly. Strength training does not mean big burly men in leotards lifting huge weights; it simply means exercises using hand weights or body weight to challenge your muscles and make them stronger, especially as you grow older.

Just as important as cardio and strength training is core training to keep your deep abdominal and postural muscles strong, which also will shape your stomach and make you look much taller, as you will stand up straight rather than stooping. Pilates exercises and most forms of yoga are perfect for this.

If you use your Ab Circle Pro as part of your regular workouts, you will be well on the way to correctly combining the principles of fitness for increased health, strength and a perfect shape, as the Ab Circle Pro combines cardio without abdominal and oblique toning to help you shape your body to the look you’ve always dreamed of.

I often come across infomercials offering equipment for exercising at home and I compare them and then write reviews on each regarding value for money, ease of each to use and set up, and how much good they will do a client.

Two pieces of equipment currently very popular are the Ab Circle Pro and the Firm Wave. The Ab Circle Pro has kneepads, handlebars and a semicircular track to glide around. You kneel on the kneepads, place your hands on the handlebars thus leaning forward in an all fours position, and swing the kneepads from side to side.

Using the Ab Circle Pro you move the kneepads from side to side while leaning on the padded handlebars; your abdominal area and waist muscles are toned and you get a cardiovascular heart and lung workout at the same time.

The body positioning on the Ab Circle Pro can feel quite challenging to start with if your upper body is weak, but within a week or so of regular use you will start to strengthen and tone your arm and chest muscles. The all fours positioning is also very good for strengthening the bones in your arms.

You need to be careful to position your hips and spine correctly when you’re exercising on all fours; if you let your lower back sag like a hammock and your abdominals bulge then you will soon get a sore back. Keep your tummy muscles pulled in and your spine in neutral and you will find your abs are in the perfect position to be toned efficiently and correctly.

The problem with doing sit-ups on the floor is that they are often done incorrectly and make the abs bulge in the wrong direction! There have been several reports of the kneepads being uncomfortable to use on the Ab Circle Pro, but I would suggest that wearing some hockey or football kneepads when you use the machine should solve that problem.

With the Ab Circle Pro you also get a low-calorie diet guide and a short DVD. Like most other home exercise devices, the Ab Circle Pro will indeed help you lose weight and build lean, sculpted muscle if you use it on a regular basis, overhaul your eating habits, and combine it with other types of regular exercise as well.

Comparing favourably to the Ab Circle Pro pricewise is The Firm Wave, which is formed of strong polymer and is in the shape of a humpback bridge. One side is stable for step and similar exercises, and the other side rocks for increased calorie burn and to challenge postural muscles. With the Wave you get a number of useful DVDs with various fat burning and toning workouts on them.

The Ab Circle Pro, like all other pieces of home fitness equipment, will work for you if you use it on a regular basis and as part of a lifestyle change. For optimum health, weight loss and toning, you will need to do other exercise as well as using the Ab Circle Pro and, very importantly, you will need to take a long hard look at what you are eating and how much of it you are eating. Remember, it is perfectly possible to get fat on healthy food if you’re eating mammoth portions of it. For my clients who love to snack, I recommend healthy snacks such as Brazil nuts, full of minerals and high in protein but also high in calories – a handful day is quite enough!

The Ab Circle Pro is billed as a treadmill for your abs and combines cardio exercise with abdominal toning. This is a good addition to any exercise schedule, but must be combined with other types of exercise such as walking, swimming or cycling and also muscle toning exercises like lunges and squats. The more toned muscle you have on your body, the better it will look and the more calories you will burn, even when you’re watching the TV or lying in bed.

Like most other people in the 40 plus age group I have to watch my weight and make an effort to get enough exercise, so as well as exercising at home I go to a Step class at the gym once a week. I’ve been going to this class for around three months now and am still only at a beginner level in Step because I’m absolutely hopeless when it comes to left and right; unless the instructor points out the direction, you can guarantee that I will step with the wrong leg, or go the opposite way and be facing in the opposite direction from the rest of the class.

The instructor, having known me and my peculiarities for years, adds loads of arm waving, just for me. She looks like she’s guiding a fighter plane in to land while yelling “Knee lift, left! Not that left, Carol – your other left!” The first time I attended this class, I really felt the burn and my legs ached for two days afterwards.

Now, after three months, I still get the benefits of a good toning and cardio workout, but the burn is far less and I don’t get the muscle soreness. My muscles have adapted and become capable of coping. Ideally I should change classes to challenge my body further – maybe I should try something like Latino-American Salsa HipHop. Oh help.

We all know we need to exercise to lose fat and keep ourselves in a nice shape so that our clothes fit and we look good, but it can be confusing to try to decide what actually is the best exercise equipment at the right price.

Choosing the right piece of home exercise equipment is not so much a problem if you have plenty of money, as you can buy several different exercise machines and put them all in a purpose-built room. But for most people that is not an option and the exercise equipment you choose must fit both your home and your budget.

For most people, the Ab Circle Pro will match their needs and their budget perfectly. It is sleek, compact and simple to use and the best part of it is that you can combine both cardio and toning workouts at the same time, burning away fat while trimming and shaping your waist area.

Compact enough to use in any room in the house and folding cleverly and easily after use for storage in a cupboard or beneath the bed, the Ab Circle Pro will certainly make a difference to your shape and your friends will start to notice your trim figure.

The difference between the Ab Circle Pro and other pieces of home exercise equipment is the way you exercise, in an all fours position with your knees on the special pads and holding the comfortable, sturdy handgrips.

In this position just swing your hips from side to side and the kneepads will slide along the high quality steel track in an arc motion that works your obliques and abdominals while giving you a fat burning cardio workout.

The Ab Circle Pro demonstrates a revolutionary way of working your abs without putting strain on your head and neck the way traditional abdominal cruncher do, as ab crunches done wrongly will simply hurt your neck and back and make your tummy muscles bulge.

The high-quality Ab Circle Pro gets you up off the floor with your torso in the perfect position for flattening your abdominals and banishing your pooch. As an added bonus, you will also strengthen your back and tone your arms and shoulders.

Question: Does The Ab Circle Pro Really Work?

Answer: Yes It really Works. But Only If You Really Use It! This must be one of the most commonly asked questions I get, and it is always the same:- “Does The Ab Circle Pro, The Firm Wave, The Cardio Twister, The T-Bow or any other piece of exercise equipment you can think of work?”

They all work if you use them regularly even the most useless over-hyped piece of exercise junk you can buy will work if you stick with it. I think better questions would be:

Will it still be functioning after a week, or will it be broken?

Will it motivate me to keep using it?

Is it downright dangerous to use in the first place(as in encouraging bad posture)

Would a different piece of equipment give me better results?

Is it easy to use and store? (No use if it takes 30 mins to set up and is the size of a small elephant)

Does it meet my weight loss / fitness goals?

Don’t blame your latest equipment purchase if you don’t get the results you want because you don’t use it! Nobody likes to be ripped off, but it’s up to you to make yourself do the exercise.

The worst (and most common) mistake that people make is assuming that because they bought the equipment that’s all they needed to do. Oddly enough the act of handing over your hard- earned cash guarantees nothing unless you actually use what you bought.

This is obvious to me, but not to many of my clients – It still makes me laugh sometimes. Hysterically.

If you want a system that does work, isn’t a gimmick but requires effort from you take a look at The Truth About Abs rock solid information that will help you lose weight quickly and effectively but only if you use it!

Well today is the day!

It’s the day of the The Ab Circle Pro

This piece of equipment is brand new on the market and I believe it’s going to be a real hit! The Ab Circle Pro combines Cardio exercise with abdominal exercise to burn fat and toned sleek trimmed abs – all at the same time! Imagine being able to work your abs at the same time as burning calories – that is every exerciser’s dream, certainly among all the clients that I have come across.

The problem with traditional Ab exercises is that they don’t combine a fat-burning element. Also, most Ab exercises are done lying on the floor which isn’t ideal. Traditional Ab Crunches, if they are not done absolutely correctly, will only hurt your back and will not help your abs. I seem to spend my life trying to teach people to do Crunches correctly!

The main problem with Ab Crunches happens when people push their abdominals outwards during the Crunch instead of sucking them in. Pushing your abs out when you crunch will indeed make them stronger, but will make them bulge outwards instead of flatten — exactly the opposite of what we want to happen! And if I tell my novice clients to pull their tummy button down as they crunch up they hold their breath and start to go blue!

The Ab Circle Pro deals with these problems in a very clever way. The Ab Circle Pro can be set up in seconds, getting you off the floor and putting your abdominals in a perfect position to be toned – there is no question of your abdominals being pushed outwards as the Ab Circle Pro works your abs as you swing from side to side. Think of the Ab Circle Pro as a treadmill for your abs!

This is a good way to sculpt great abs, banish the pooch and get a fantastic trim waistline. You are up off the floor and your neck and back are in a perfect position – no more neck pain from doing crunches!

The Ab Circle Pro has three levels of resistance to make your workouts tougher as you get stronger and trimmer. The unique, patented friction-free track means that you glide smoothly from side to side working those abs and burning as many calories as jogging on a treadmill.

Although the Ab Circle Pro if used regularly will help you achieve your weight loss goals it’s build quality has been called into question. If you want to lose weight safely and want an inexpensive product that will do just that then why not take a look at The Truth About Abs. At under $40 it’s great value for money, does exactly what it says it’ll do and you can’t break it!
