			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>I think everyone can relate to the question why am I not getting the fat loss and fitness results that I want?  To be honest with you I have absolutely no idea!  Now obviously neither do you otherwise you wouldn&#8217;t be asking the question would you?</p>
<p>If you really want an honest answer to this question why not ask a fitness professional?  When you consider particularly these days how important it is to maintain a healthy weight I find it surprising that people don&#8217;t ask the person who&#8217;d really know.  People will ask their mothers, friends, acquaintances and uncle Tom Cobleigh and all to try and find the answer to this question but rarely the person who has the answer.</p>
<p>If I was ill or had something wrong with me the first place I go is to see my physician or Doctor.  I know I&#8217;m probably going to have to pay but if I want professional advice that&#8217;s just how it is.</p>
<p>But when it comes to fat loss which lets face it is probably one of the most serious problems of the modern age we become pikers.  We&#8217;d rather spend hours in front of a computer googling fat loss and weight loss than spend some money on hiring a qualified personal trainer.</p>
<p>Personal trainers cost anywhere in the region of $30 to $50 for a one-hour session but just think of what you&#8217;re getting for your money.  Your personal trainer will assess your current fitness levels and recommend a workout that is tailored just for you.  That way you&#8217;ll maximise your results and have little or no risk of injury.</p>
<p>Usually after two or three sessions which may be weekly at first you&#8217;ll be able to just employ your personal trainer for maybe once a month in order to change your workout to take into account your new fitness level and to prevent you from hitting a plateaux.</p>
<p>So my advice would be that if you have the money put your hand in your pocket and employ a personal trainer you know it makes sense.

Most people will have seen it advertised on the infomercial channels being used by Chuck Norris and Christie Brinkley.</p>

<p>This latest model <strong>The Total Gym Shaper</strong> is the most inexpensive model they've produced coming in at just under £100 ($140) and offers great value for money.</p>

<p>It works by using your own body weight as resistance and depending on the incline you set can give you a weight range of 6-60% of your body weight. So for muscle building you use a high incline with fewer repetitions and for aerobic muscle sculpting a lower incline and more repetitions are used.</p>

<p>Total Gym claim you can do over 60 exercises on it targeting every muscle group in your body and it has the following features:</p?
<ul>
	<li>Can help you to lose weight.</li>
	<li>Will improve muscle tone and definition.</li>
	<li>Saves you time because you can work out at home</li>
	<li>15 minutes every other day will give you fantastic results</li>
	<li>Complete control over the resistance used</li>
	<li>Can be used by anyone at any fitness level</li>
	<li>Combined strength training and cardio workout saves time</li>
</ul>
<p>I know this type of equipment works because we have one of the older models which, by the way, cost us a lot more than this one.</p>

<p>The only thing I don't agree with Total Gym in their informercial is the easy-to-put-away part. You see a small women folding it up and then effortlessly putting it away. Trust me, it's not that easy. It's a well-built machine and heavier than it looks!</p>

<p>Bottom line is that I like The Total Gym and although I don't use mine as much as I used to (I prefer to use equipment like <a href="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/home-workout-equipment/tbowexercise/">The T-Bow</a> and body weight exercises), for your average at home exerciser this piece of equipment is inexpensive, well built and will give you a great workout.</p>

<p>Amazon usually have the best price for the <script type="text/javascript"><!--
//<! [CDATA[
   var m3_u = (location.protocol=='https:'?'https://d1.openx.org/ajs.php':'http://d1.openx.org/ajs.php');
   var m3_r = Math.floor(Math.random()*99999999999);
   if (!document.MAX_used) document.MAX_used = ',';
   document.write ("<scr"+"ipt type='text/javascript' src='"+m3_u);
   document.write ("?zoneid=23059");
   document.write ('&amp;cb=' + m3_r);
   if (document.MAX_used != ',') document.write ("&amp;exclude=" + document.MAX_used);
   document.write (document.charset ? '&amp;charset='+document.charset : (document.characterSet ? '&amp;charset='+document.characterSet : ''));
   document.write ("&amp;loc=" + escape(window.location));
   if (document.referrer) document.write ("&amp;referer=" + escape(document.referrer));
   if (document.context) document.write ("&#038;context=" + escape(document.context));
   if (document.mmm_fo) document.write ("&amp;mmm_fo=1");
   document.write ("'><\/scr"+"ipt>");//

//  &gt;
// --></script></p>

<p>The video below shows how Chuck and Gena use the Total Gym in their own workouts. The Total Gym shown is one of the more expensive models but the Total Gym Shaper will do exactly the same job.</p>

I&#8217;m assuming they mean will it help me lose weight (fat). Although I&#8217;m in danger of repeating myself (it&#8217;s my blog so I can if I want) <img src='http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> the answer would have to be yes, the Kettleworx system does work.</p>
<p>But &#8211; you knew there had to be a but you so could also get results running on the spot while carrying a tin of baked beans in each hand!</p>
<p>The advantage of systems like <a href="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/home-workout-equipment/kettleworxreviews/">Kettleworx</a> or <a href="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/thefirmwave/reviews/">The Firm Wave</a> is that they gives your workouts structure. They show you exactly what you need to do at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. You are also shown how to do the exercises safely and in good form which is important if you want to avoid injury.</p>
<p>As a fitness professional I really don&#8217;t care what exercise you do (although you can get faster results by picking the right workout) I just want you to do something. Pick a product that you like and use it regularly and I promise you will get results.</p>
<p>Just don&#8217;t give up and remember weight loss, getting fit and feeling good requires a lot of small changes over a long period of time. Don&#8217;t aim for 4lbs a week instead be happy with 1/2 &#8211; 1lb at that rate you&#8217;ll be able to live a little and lose a little the best of both worlds.</p>
<p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=176730&amp;u=344838&amp;m=22443&amp;urllink=&amp;afftrack=AHWRkettleworx">Get Total Body Fitness In Just 20 Minutes, 3 Times A Week!</a></p>
<p>Good luck and remember if you don&#8217;t enjoy your workouts you won&#8217;t do them!</p>
<p>All the best,</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-213" style="margin: 5px 7px;" title="corerhythms-2" src="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/corerhythms-2.jpg" alt="corerhythms-2" width="97" height="154" />Being a Personal Trainer can be a lot of fun when it comes to reviewing exercise equipment and DVDs. It&#8217;s like a disease at the moment the amount of new &#8220;stuff&#8221; coming onto the market is staggering. So what&#8217;s a person to do? How do you pick am exercise program that works?</p>
<p>Take Core Rhythms for example. How do you know it&#8217;s any good? Will you be able to use it to get fat loss results? If you spend your life searching for that perfect product trust me you&#8217;ll look forever and be no wiser.</p>
<p>Core Rhythms looks like a decent product (Disclaimer I don&#8217;t have it) it will get you moving and if followed regularly will help you lose weight. The issue is do you like it? Does it light your fire? Will it motivate you to workout?</p>
<p>For me it wouldn&#8217;t I don&#8217;t like to dance (call me strange if you like) so this type of workout just wouldn&#8217;t motivate me to get off my butt! But maybe it would for you, maybe you like to dance and maybe you like this type of music if so then this workout would be perfect for you.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll say it again it doesn&#8217;t matter what exercise you do just do something if you find you&#8217;re getting bored have a go at something else mix it up a bit as I&#8217;ve said there&#8217;s no shortage of material.</p>
<p>I like to do aerobics, strength training and stretching and I get bored easily which is why I use equipment like <a href="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/thefirmwave/reviews/">The Firm Wave</a> to help me get variety in my workout.</p>
<p>Take look at this video and see if this workout would motivate you if it does you know what to do <img src='http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><object width="425" height="344" data="http://www.youtube.com/v/BpdZJADVE4o&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/BpdZJADVE4o&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /></object></p>

]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p><a href="http://www.free-pilates-exercises.com/t-bow.php"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-73" style="margin: 5px 7px;" title="The T-Bow Exercise System" src="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/t-bow-orange.jpg" alt="" width="197" height="130" /></a>You may have noticed a schizophrenic tendency in my Blog posts of late! First I post about the <strong>T-Bow</strong> (T-Bow.com) and then about <strong>The Firm Wave</strong> (TheFirmWave.com) so what gives?</p>
<p>The bottom line is I like both products. They do the same job but there are some differences and it can be a challenge to decide which product would suit best. Because of this I&#8217;m going to write a detailed report and include some videos to help you make up your mind on which one would be best for you. So bookmark this page and keep your ears pinned back for the face off <img src='http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>For the moment if you just can&#8217;t wait I would apply the following rule of thumb:</p>
<p>If you only have $100, only require one and weigh less than 275lbs then pick the Firm Wave.</p>
<p>or</p>
<p>If you have $200, require more than one (the T-Bow stacks) and weigh more than 275lbs then pick the T-Bow.</p>
<p>Now there&#8217;s more to it than that but that should at least help you make a decision in the short term. So you have a choice <a rel="nofollow" href="http://click.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/click?id=KMAGEvKeQIw&amp;offerid=133367.10000225&amp;type=3&amp;subid=0">Surf The Wave</a><img src="http://ad.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/show?id=KMAGEvKeQIw&amp;bids=133367.10000225&amp;type=3&amp;subid=0" border="0" alt="" width="1" height="1" /> or <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.free-pilates-exercises.com/t-bow.php">Rock On The T-Bow</a>. Just pick one and start to turbo charge your workouts!</p>
<p>All the best,</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>I have decided to make some videos of an average person (me) working out on the <strong>T-Bow</strong>. I worked out that people are very suspicious of slim, sleek and toned models posing and looking great on the latest piece of Home Exercise Equipment. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Q: I have been using the <strong>T-Bow Exercise Syste</strong>m for a few weeks and have only lost 3lbs and haven’t noticed any change in my shape. I am about to give up! What am I doing wrong?</p>
<p>A: Don’t give up! You are doing everything right; as a Personal Trainer, I would be delighted with those results. What is happening is that you are building muscle at the same time as you are losing fat. Muscle weighs in much heavier than fat, but takes up much less space, and gives the sleek, toned curves that look so great.</p>
<p><a href="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/t-bow-exercise-walking2.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-92" style="margin: 5px 7px;" title="The TBow Exercise System" src="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/t-bow-exercise-walking2.jpg" alt="" width="113" height="188" /></a>Even better, muscle burns calories all the time – fat just sits there looking lumpy! So the scales may not say much weight difference, but your body composition is changing; you’ve probably lost around 6lbs of fat and gained 3lbs of muscle! Think of the World’s Strongest Man – he weighs in around 300lbs, which makes him obese according to the weighing scales – but you only have to look at him to see there’s not an ounce of fat on him.</p>
<p>Keep up with your regular use of <a href="http://www.squidoo.com/home-fitness-exercise-equipment">The TBow</a> Exercise system at an intensity that you can sustain. You should not be gasping for breath and moaning from muscle pain at the end of a workout – you’ll never be able to keep that up. Moderate intensity, 2 – 4 times a week will make you feel energized and full of life, and those excess inches will steadily melt away – and you’ll see and feel the difference. Even better, that excess fat will stay away. Keep rocking on the TBow.</p>
<p>Just to prove that real people use the T-Bow I&#8217;m creating some videos showing you what it can do.</p>
<p><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="425" height="344" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/dnY7I1-bdH8&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/dnY7I1-bdH8&amp;hl=en&amp;fs=1" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></p>
<p>If you like the T-Bow you may want to take a look at <a href="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/thefirmwave/reviews/">The Firm Wave Review</a> I&#8217;ve written. The Firm Wave is similar to the T-Bow but is less expensive. Unfortunately it&#8217;s only available in the USA and Canada <img src='http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.free-pilates-exercises.com/t-bow.php"><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-73" title="The T-Bow Exercise System" src="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/t-bow-orange.jpg" alt="" width="197" height="130" /></a>I think the T-Bow Exercise System is the single best piece of home exercise equipment I&#8217;ve ever bought. I&#8217;m a Personal Trainer and believe me I&#8217;ve tried dozens of pieces of equipment, some cheap and some expensive. Almost all of them lie stacked up in a corner of my spare bedroom &#8211; now discarded as either totally useless or so complicated to use that it&#8217;s not worth the hassle setting them up.</p>
<p>The TBow on the other hand can be ready for use in seconds. Just slip it out from under the bed, turn it over and your ready to rock!</p>
<p><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.free-pilates-exercises.com/t-bow.php"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-81" style="margin: 5px 7px;" title="The TBow Exercise System" src="http://athomeworkoutreviews.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/t-bow-exercise-walking1.jpg" alt="" width="113" height="188" /></a>It can be used to give you a truly great cardio fat blasting workout, use it with the bands for strength training, use it for stretching and if you do Pilates use it to make your workout more challenging.</p>
<p>This versatile piece of kit really does it all and it&#8217;s great fun to boot. If I had to pick only one piece of exercise equipment to keep it would be this one it really is that good.</p>
<p>It pre-dates The Firm Wave by a number of years and is the original design. I also like The Firm Wave as it comes in at under $100 and will do the same job. I have 18 T-Bows which I use to teach classes and the ability to able to stack them is important (The Wave won&#8217;t stack).</p>
<p>Whether its <a href="http://www.squidoo.com/home-fitness-exercise-equipment">The TBow</a> or <a href="http://www.squidoo.com/firmwavepersonalgym">The Firm Wave</a> don&#8217;t hesitate just get one, use it regularly, have fun and lose weight at the same time.</p>
